Man do I love shooting! It's about the only thing that calms me down when I'm stressed out. I mainly enjoy the aspect of building the gun, getting it kitted out then seeing the results when I take it out to shoot some paper targets. I used to hunt squirrels when I lived @ my parents house because they have about 25 acres and almost a hundred pecan trees that were just about to start producing when I was in high school. So at about age 19 I bought my first rifle and then I was hooked! After the trees started producing I'd come home from college and get out my Ruger .22 and just go to town on the squirrels. The first year we started shooting them my Dad took out over 30 and I shot around 16. But since then there have been many newcomers to my old hometown and they call the cops every time they hear a gunshot. So that almost put an end to shooting the squirrels-I purchased a Phoenix rifle by Advanced Armament and paid the $200 tax stamp on it so now it's as quiet as a whisper. Now I have 2 Ruger 10/22's and 4 M1 Carbines in addition to an AR-15 and 3 Mossberg 12 gauges as well as many other shotguns and pistols.
